How do I get started with Momenta?

Momenta is currently in private beta. Join our waitlist on the homepage to get early access. Once you receive an invite, you can download the app from the App Store (iOS) and sign in to get started. You'll be able to start indexing your home assets, storing documents, and tracking your home's value.

Is my home data secure?

Yes, security is our top priority. We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256) to protect all your home data. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We never share your information with third parties without your explicit consent, and you maintain full control over your data at all times.

Do you connect to my bank accounts or collect financial data?

No, we do not. Momenta does not collect financial data, bank account information, or connect to any banking services. We do not use Plaid or any financial data aggregators. We only collect home-related data such as property details, asset information, warranties, maintenance records, and home documents. Your equity tracking is based on public property data and your home's details, not bank connections.

How does The Living Ledger work?

The Living Ledger uses AI to automatically index your home assets. Simply take a photo of any appliance, fixture, or piece of equipment in your home. Our AI identifies the item, extracts the model and serial numbers, and logs warranty information. You can also manually add asset details. This creates a complete digital inventory of everything in your home.

How does equity tracking work without bank connections?

Our Equity Tracker uses public property data sources and your home's details (like purchase price, mortgage amount you provide, and property improvements) to calculate your equity. We track home value appreciation using local market data and show how your equity grows from both appreciation and principal paydown. You manually input your mortgage details—we never connect to your bank.

What is the Property Passport?

The Property Passport is like a "Carfax for Homes"—a certified, shareable digital record of your home's health, maintenance history, and improvements. When you're ready to sell, you can share this verified record with potential buyers to eliminate inspection friction and demonstrate the true value of your home. It's built from all the data you've collected in Momenta throughout your ownership.

Can I chat with my documents using AI?

Yes! With Vaults, you can upload all your home documents (warranties, manuals, receipts, insurance policies, etc.) and chat with them using AI. Ask questions like "When does my HVAC warranty expire?" or "What's covered under my home insurance policy?" and our AI will search through your documents to find the answer instantly.

What platforms is Momenta available on?

Momenta is currently available on iOS. We're working on expanding to other platforms. Join our waitlist to be notified when Momenta becomes available on your preferred platform.

Can I delete my account and all my data?

Yes, you can delete your account at any time through the app settings. This will permanently delete all your data, including your home documents, asset records, and property information. If you need help with account deletion or have questions about data removal, please contact our support team.
